    The Preserve at McCormick Park is a nature preserve. By the playground are picnic areas and a gazebo. More unique features of this park include a historic tree grove, outdoor classroom, species trail (with markers denoting the species of the trees along the trail), and bird watching area. There are also two ponds within this park with one containing a fishing pier and boardwalk.
